Maria Baptista

Architect and exhibition designer with over 10 years of practice in expography, spatial storytelling and cultural production. Based in Brazil with European citizenship, I`m specialized in designing immersive environments for museums, galleries, and cultural institutions — from concept and curatorial dialogue through to executive supervision on site. My work spans permanent and temporary exhibitions, scenography for cultural events, and heritage research projects, always grounded in a strong relationship between space, narrative, and the visitor's experience. In 2024 I was selected for the Artistic Research Forum at L'AiR Arts – Cité Falguière, Paris, deepening my engagement with the European cultural scene. Available to work remotely or in a hybrid setup and welcome short-term and project-based collaborations with European institutions and creative studios.
