I accompanied, each day, a group of 8 children and 8 parents, as part of an initiative by the Tour de France for the winners of the Tour Dictation: a national competition organized in the schools of the start and finish towns.
These children, for the most part unfamiliar with the world of cycling, were invited to experience an immersive and educational day at the Tour.
The day began with an official presentation on the Tour podium, in front of the public and media, then continued with:
• discovery of the advertising caravan
• visit to the start village
• access to the riders' start line
My role was to supervise, secure, and lead this experience, adapting explanations to each group and ensuring good coordination between the different stakeholders.
This mission allowed me to develop valuable qualities: listening skills, pedagogy, intergenerational adaptation, and a sense of organization.
Position held during the 2019 & 2021 Tour de France.
