Margot Jacob

Trained in architecture at the Ecole Nationale Supérieure d’Architecture de Paris Belleville, until obtaining HMONP in 2017, I first worked as a project assistant at the Atelier du Torrent. In 2018, as an extension of my project assistant role, I wanted to broaden my skills to scenography, through light. Thus, for six years, I worked as an assistant and then project manager in lighting design at CONCEPTO. The development of large-scale lighting strategies characterizes this agency. Indeed, it most often works in a project management team and supports architects, landscape architects, and urban planners in their projects. It creates particular and safe lighting atmospheres, with standardized responses, through meticulous photometric studies and luminaire choices. It also works with public clients wishing to evolve their lighting strategies at the city level, or even at the level of a community of municipalities. In 2022, my professional aspirations evolved and led me to build a new life project in Haute-Vienne. For this reason, I started a CAP in carpentry and installation at the Compagnons du Tour de France in Panazol, which complements my existing skills in architecture and allows me to deepen my knowledge of wood and the fabrication of fittings, down to the smallest technical details of assembly. Always curious to learn and understand, I also place efficiency and teamwork at the heart of my work. I aim to work in a transdisciplinary and technical manner. I also place the principles of frugality, sustainability, and material reuse at the heart of a qualitative professional approach.
