Context: E.ON, a leading player in the energy sector, launched a digital transformation to standardize and improve its financial procedures. The primary objective was to enhance the traceability of financial flows by unifying operations on SAP FI (Financial Accounting) and CO (Controlling) modules. As a Proxy Product Owner, I played a key role in this project, acting as an intermediary between business stakeholders and development teams. This project enabled E.ON to standardize its financial processes, improve operational transparency, and enhance overall financial management efficiency.

• Identify stakeholder requirements regarding financial processes, including general accounting, accounts payable and receivable, and controlling.

• Analyze current financial flows and suggest improvements in line with SAP FI/CO best practices.

• Detail business scenarios managed by SAP, focusing on financial and internal control processes.

• Determine the development order of functionalities, create user stories, and ensure their consistency with business objectives.

• Collaborate with testing teams to design and implement unit and integration test scenarios, ensuring the quality of deliverables.

• Prepare training for end-users on new SAP FI/CO processes.

• Improve operational efficiency by identifying and automating recurring financial tasks through scheduled work.

• Collaborate closely with the main Product Owner to ensure strategic alignment and consistency of decisions made.

Context: Daimler AG manages a highly automated global logistics network for spare parts distribution and goods flow management, with specialized centers in Europe, America, and Asia. The company combines high-tech central warehouses with shared logistics services for its suppliers, relying on SAP and automation for an agile and transparent supply chain.

• Develop functional specifications and supervise financing flows. Manage and coordinate meetings with stakeholders for the integration of the new payment partner Mercedes Pay.

• Ensure the interoperability of various applications to ensure effective and optimal communication.

• Create User Stories and perform tests to ensure the proper functioning of the system, including changes in affiliate names and advanced inventory management.

• Write test cases specifying actions performed and draft validation reports.

• Provide post-implementation support to resolve issues and ensure operational continuity.

• Collaborate with technical teams for escalating complex issues to level 3.

• Provide constant assistance to resolve post-implementation issues.
