Context:

I joined the IT project management team within the IT department to lead several cross-functional IT projects from the scoping phase to commissioning.

The team consisted of about twenty Project Managers and Directors.

Typical project squad: 1 business representative, 1 technical architect, 1 project director, several technical project managers (5 to 15 depending on the projects), 1 test lead with 2 to 4 analysts, several production contacts (5 to 10), and sometimes external service provider partners (2 to 3 contacts) or Telecom operators for inter-operator projects.

Responsibilities:

- Leading business workshops and scoping requirements

- Managing project phases: study, execution, testing, and commissioning

- Coordinating business, technical, and external partner teams

- Leading project and steering committees

- Managing schedules and risks

- Leading the testing strategy and acceptance

- Organizing production deployment

- Monitoring VSR

- Project reporting using JIRA and documentation using Confluence

- Overhaul of prospect/customer qualification (PRM CRM Salesforce)

- Fiber optic inter-operator projects

- Launch of video and audio streaming offers
