I am Marcel and work as a Product Designer with a focus on user-centered product development and holistic design. My foundation is an education as a technical design assistant and media designer, upon which my work in UI, UX, and Product Design is built. I have been active in design for over 20 years, with about twelve years focusing on web, UI, and UX, combining aesthetic design with functional, scalable solutions.

I worked at this company for six years and contributed to numerous projects. Initially, I co-founded a new interdisciplinary Scrum team that developed its own real estate product to become more independent from partners like Immowelt. My responsibility was in the area of User Interface, in close collaboration with my UX partner. Shortly thereafter, I was assigned to a project focused on realigning the brand, design, and products. The creative strategy. Together with UX, we developed a new visual identity through numerous workshops and small working groups. This included sharpening and expanding target groups as well as the design. This project ran parallel to daily business until my departure. Afterwards, I continued to work in the real estate team and was again assigned to a project aimed at developing a new smartphone app – a product the company would later strategically focus on. Together with a small team, I laid the foundation and later established a new team that exclusively handled the app. In addition to the main app, we also managed the separate jobs app. My tasks included the conception and design of solutions based on tracking insights and user feedback. Furthermore, I developed an extensive design system and corresponding documentation options for the company and my team. Another focus was on stakeholder management with product owners, developers, and management.
