After successfully completing several assignments at France Université Numérique, I took on the role of Chief Technology Officer. Together with my team, we managed multiple projects simultaneously, notably the creation of a marketplace that enables French universities to sell their professional training courses online and deliver these courses on this platform, extending the existing one of France Université Numérique. Maintaining and evolving the existing infrastructure is part of our daily routine, as well as collaborating with other state administrations, particularly the DINUM, by participating in the AllIAnce meetup. Through this meetup, I had the opportunity to successfully lead the Transcr'IA project, which adds a transcription feature using generative AI (Whisper) to the Peertube project, widely used in French administrations. This project will allow France Université Numérique to transcribe its catalog, amounting to nearly 3500 hours of video. I also took over the DATA department and was able to support this team in the deployment of the Learning Record Store (LRS) Ralph (https://github.com/openfun/ralph), which collects all learning traces from our platform and allows them to be used through dashboards developed within the Warren project (https://github.com/openfun/warren). The DATA department has also been able to support administrations such as the DNE to help them understand xAPI and define the indicators they need.

Arriving at France Université Numérique as a front-end developer, I quickly advanced to a Full-Stack/DevOps position. I took over the Marsha project (https://github.com/openfun/marsha) and developed it into a highly available Learning Content Management System (LCMS) that delivers media content worldwide. I actively contributed to the development of all France Université Numérique projects, which are notable for being open source: https://github.com/openfun. Along with a small group, I took charge of managing our applications, enabling their automatic deployment, making them resilient, and ensuring their 24/7 availability. We transitioned to a cloud architecture, rapidly adopting Kubernetes, enhancing our development processes to deploy in a containerized manner, and streamlining our processes from development to production with a blue/green strategy, allowing us to deploy continuously without service interruption.
