Manuel Lieffroy

Graduated in 2012 from the Emile Cohl school in Lyon, I have since dedicated myself to illustration and comic strips. My professional background leads me to work on both very personal and free projects and others that are more targeted and educational. I am attentive to my clients' requests, I enjoy adapting to constraints, and I work efficiently.

Publishing

In 2012, I co-founded the publishing house Mauvaise Foi with 4 classmates. For 9 years, we published a magazine dedicated to comic strips and illustration, Laurence 666, as well as author books. In 2015, Laurence 666 received the award for alternative comic strips at the Angoulême festival. Within Mauvaise Foi, I was involved in all aspects of book creation: scriptwriting, drawing, art direction, layout, relationship with printers, and distribution.

Corporate

Since 2016, I have been working regularly as a freelancer with Agence 9, a communication agency specializing in comic strips. For them, I create educational illustrations and comic strips for internal corporate communication.
