Manuel Fonseca

I am a Professional, with a degree recognized by the Polytechnic Institute of Porto. I currently reside in the Czech Republic, where I have expanded my knowledge in mechanical engineering. My most recent experience includes:

• Modification and creation of solids suitable for simulation.

• Analysis of vibrations in models using finite elements (FEA), in accordance with MIL-STD-810H and RTCA/DO-160G standards.

• Analysis of fluid flow with heat transfer, using computational fluid dynamics (CFD).

• Development of proprietary programs in Visual Basic and Python to optimize and automate the analysis process.

These skills have been applied in the study and development of aeronautical devices and UAVs (unmanned aerial vehicles) at the company where I recently worked.

My professional career began in the civil construction sector, where I worked in contract administration in the oil industry in Venezuela. Later, in Portugal, I worked in a construction company as an Orçamentista (equivalent to Cost Estimator), where my main responsibilities included:

• Development of cost studies for the creation of budgets for civil construction works.

• Development of proposals for public tenders, ensuring that technical and financial requirements were met.

• Control and monitoring of construction progress, ensuring correct execution within established deadlines and budgets.
