• Work closely with Business Analysts of Cargo domain to understand requirement of data for visualization and analytics.

• Uses ETL Techniques (Informatica, Python script, Bash Script, PL/SQL, SQL Loader and SQL) to develop pipelines for data loading, transforming and ingestion into on-prem data warehouse and AWS Redshift.

• Ensure data governance and modeling.

• Design and develop below 2 types of pipelines to copy data into AWS Redshift Tables i. Copy structured data (csv, parquet) from S3 files to Redshift tables using Lambda function ii. Transform and Load semi structured data (JSON, XML, text log files) from S3 to Redshift tables using AWS Glue, Athena pipelines.

• Developed below pipelines in on-prem using Informatica, SQL Loader, Bash and SQL i. ETL pipeline for Airline registered Agents data from Salesforce to Oracle database. ii. ETL pipeline to copy flight disruption data in csv to oracle database using shell script and sql loader. iii. ETL pipeline to copy revenue data from AWS RDS database to on premise oracle database.

• Developed Tableau Dashboards i. To visualize real time alerts generated by databases which helps to quickly identify the issue in database by L2 ops team. ii. To visualize database inventory at various grouping level for database support team.

• Uses AWS Services like S3, Lambda, AWS Glue, AWS CatLog, AWS Athena, AWS redshift, AWS Sage maker.

• Exposure to Apache Hive, Apache Kafka, Apache Presto, Apache Spark, Apache Airflow

• Works in Agile environment and uses Automated CI/CD process of Git and Jenkins.

• Administration of Oracle database (Standalone, RAC, ASM) and Microsoft SQL server databases up to 100 TB in 10g, 1 1g,12c and 19c.

• Proficient in SQL, PL/SQL, SQL Performance tuning, Indexing, and using database statistical tools (AWR, explain plan, Segment advisor, SQL tuning advisor, SQL profiles, fragmentation).

• Designed multiple databases for application at schema, object (tables, view, MVIEWS, procedures) level.

• Supported NO SQL Redis (in memory) database used for in memory customer data for ba.com.

• Worked with HDFS (Hadoop architecture) using Hive tool.

• Automated below solutions resulting saving in effort and cost. i. Schema cloning process on ba.com dev database which saved effort of manual cloning and reduces cloning effort to 10%. ii. Monitoring process of oracle databases (700+) using centralized database using SQL, PL/SQL, and bash scripting. iii. Database users audit process in BA which reduced the effort of auditing from 45 days to 10 days.
