During this assignment, I joined the project team responsible for the validation of Thales' SelTRAC CBTC system. My main task was to prepare and execute integration and validation test campaigns for railway subsystems (ATC, ATS, SAM, IXL), following a rigorous process based on functional and safety requirements.

I was responsible for writing test plans, preparing the test environment (network configuration, routing, system updates), and generating the necessary data for the successful execution of tests. I developed and automated scenarios through test scripts, conducted validation and regression campaigns, and documented the results in detailed reports.

In close collaboration with the system engineering team, I also participated in anomaly analysis, traceability, and monitoring of functional evolutions. The environment was demanding and focused on critical systems, which allowed me to strengthen my skills in testing, networking, and documentary rigor.

This assignment aimed to integrate Python scripts into an Android application to create a mobile solution capable of performing complex image processing locally. I participated in the design of an Android application developed in Kotlin, while integrating the Chaquopy plugin for the execution of embedded Python code.

In this context, I conducted an in-depth study of compatibility between Python libraries (OpenCV, Pillow, NumPy) and the Android environment. I then integrated these tools to enable real-time image processing directly from the mobile interface, without relying on a remote server. I configured a test environment combining emulators and physical devices, and validated performance through image sets simulating various real-world scenarios (filters, detection, rotation, compression).

I also wrote clear technical documentation to facilitate project handover, while ensuring the maintainability of the developed code. This internship allowed me to strengthen my skills in hybrid mobile development, Python/Android interoperability, and image processing on embedded devices.
