SveJona is an e-commerce company focused on building brands, sourcing products nationally and internationally, and distributing them. SveJona has already built brands such as Teesein, POSH Tattoo, and Smartregard. Hundreds of products in the categories of tea, coffee, natural herbs, fashion, lifestyle, and stationery were developed, performance-optimized, and brought to market. SveJona's sales channels ranged from webshops to Ebay, Hood, and Amazon. In 2015, SveJona underwent a drastic streamlining due to a shift in the founders' focus, now works closely with Amazon, and specializes purely in the Teesein brand with natural herbs.

My Responsibilities

As managing partner, my primary responsibility is to lead the company as a whole, both strategically and operationally.

Project Description

As operational business processes grew, the efficiency of these processes suffered. The goal was to pilot small applications through process-oriented development with a hands-on mentality, which would immediately increase efficiency and provide insights into what works and how well. The following applications were developed during this period:

• Consolidated Reporting Database

• Application for processing EEG direct marketing deals

• Analysis application for renewable energy plants

• Discount calculator for private customers

My Responsibilities

As a Business Analyst, I conducted the analysis of operational business processes with a focus on efficiency improvements, in coordination and sparring with the business departments. The results of the analysis were transferred into a product backlog and iteratively implemented by me as a developer. Implementation was done in MS Access, SAP Lumira, and MS Excel. Data storage was in MS SQL, MS Access, and Oracle databases.

During development, based on the Scrum Framework, regular reviews were held for stakeholders. Stakeholder feedback was directly incorporated into the development. From the release of the MVPs, operationalization also fell within my area of responsibility.

Upon completion of the pilot projects, the results were consolidated, prepared, and handed over to the business departments with comprehensive recommendations for further action.

Project Description

Eutrind was an IT company for the development of mobile and web applications with locations in Ahmedabad (Gujarat, India) and Herrenberg (Baden-Württemberg, Germany). The goal was to build a company with a heterogeneous Scrum team, consisting of developers, testers, ethnologists, a Scrum Master, and myself as Product Owner, that united the strengths of both countries without hierarchies and with full transparency. Contracts were won in Germany, Switzerland, and India.

My Responsibilities

As founder and Product Owner, I developed the company's vision, mission, and business strategy. The business strategy was broken down into a roadmap and converted into a product backlog. Product Backlog Management and Stakeholder Management constituted a large part of my responsibilities.

As managing partner, in addition to my Product Owner role, my primary responsibility was to lead the company as a whole, both strategically and operationally.
