Luna-Sira Kante

During my internship at the law firm Alexandre, Levy, Kahn et Braun in Strasbourg, I had the opportunity to gain practical insight into the functioning of a law firm and observe the daily practice of law. This experience allowed me to participate in legal research, case analysis, and consultation of legislative and jurisprudential sources.

I also assisted the firm's professionals in preparing documents and familiarized myself with the different stages of handling a legal file. This internship strengthened my methodological rigor, my analytical skills, and my ability to work precisely on various legal issues.

Beyond the technical aspects, this immersion allowed me to develop a better understanding of client relationship issues, confidentiality, and the specific requirements of the legal profession. This initial experience confirmed my interest in law and contributed to shaping my path towards international law and cross-border legal matters.

During the summer of 2023, I worked as a barista at the Hotel Resort Beach in Bacino Grande, Puglia, Italy. This experience allowed me to work in a dynamic and international environment, interacting with a diverse clientele from various countries.

On a daily basis, I was responsible for greeting customers, preparing and serving drinks, and managing orders. Working in a busy setting taught me how to prioritize, maintain a high level of service quality, and remain responsive to unexpected situations.

This experience also enhanced my interpersonal skills, teamwork, and adaptability. Thanks to my language skills, I was able to communicate easily with international customers and contribute to providing a positive experience for visitors. This immersion in a multicultural environment developed my ease in human interactions and my ability to work effectively under pressure.

As an Italian-French judicial interpreter, I operate in a demanding legal setting that requires perfect mastery of both languages and high professional rigor. My role is to facilitate communication between the parties during proceedings involving Italian speakers and French authorities.

This task requires faithful and precise translation of exchanges, while respecting the appropriate legal terminology and the confidentiality requirements specific to the judicial domain. It also involves a strong capacity for listening, concentration, and neutrality to ensure clear and accurate understanding of the information conveyed.

This experience has allowed me to strengthen my linguistic and legal skills, while developing excellent stress management and a strong capacity for adaptation. It is a significant asset in my career, at the intersection of law, languages, and intercultural communication.
