My job entailed taking the detailed SRS document supplied by the client and converting it into a user-centric UI/UX design.Major responsibilities included the design of user flows, development of visual hierarchy, and working on interactive prototypes using Figma. The seamless user experiences were designed for both buyers as well as the seller, ranging from onboarding to product management. The design approach included intuitive navigation, visual cohesiveness, as well as a modern and high-performing visual identity.Main Deliverables & Tasks:
- Designed onboarding & authentication screens (welcome screens, OTP, profile setup, user preferences).
- Implemented complete functionality on the seller's side for product creation, bulk upload, categories, promotions, and inventory.
- Designed viral feed views featuring video previews, engagement elements, and clickable products for immediate purchase.
- Designed cart, checkout, refunds, and returns functionality for reduced friction and effective communication
- Designed notification center, sales dashboard, and analytics report to measure engagement, performance, as well as sales earnings.
- Created a unified UI Library consisting of components, colors, typography, as well as common patterns.
- Presented two design alternatives for the theme colors (green/white), as well as ideas for enhancing the logo.
- Designed interactive Figma prototypes for usability testing as well as client walk-throughs.
Results: Completed a production-ready Figma design system, garnering exceptional client feedback and a 5-star rating. The completed project has set a foundation for the visual identity as well as user flows for Viral Market’s mobile app ensuring a smooth dev handoff. - xWave TechnologiesUI/UX DesignerMEDICALDecember 2023 - January 2025 (1 year and 1 month)Bloemfontein, South AfricaOverview:I worked on optimizing the xWave referral system for general practitioners and radiologists, along with the associated clinical dashboard. The approach ensured a decrease in user fatigue as well as optimization of decision-making efficiency for both general practitioners and radiologists. Complex medical processes have been converted into a user-friendly, production-ready interface.Designs for high fidelity dashboards were developed using Figma. Responsive desktop as well as mobile views with respect to Flutter/Dart rules. The prototypes were designed to validate usability/user experience. The design approach included simplicity, hierarchy, and balance to reduce cognitive load while accomplishing day-to-day work.Key contributions:
- Created referral flows, status indicators, and dashboard systems to facilitate easy prioritization for the clinicians.
- Designed responsive UI solutions based on Flutter/Dart frameworks for smooth handover to development.
- Designed interactive prototypes using Figma, demonstrating transitions, states, and micro-interactions.

Results: The delivery of a clean, scalable interface has improved usability, decreased task completion time for clinicians, and promoted consistency throughout the xWave environment. The impact of my work has contributed to the development of the product, as well as facilitating partner integrations.
