Within the AFI stream at Bpifrance, I am involved in the Cassiopae project, a strategic application for the IT system dedicated to financing management. I contribute to build and run activities, ensuring the reliability, performance, and deployment of application evolutions. I specifically work on industrializing deployments, automation through CI/CD pipelines, as well as monitoring and resolving incidents in coordination with business and technical teams. My role also includes coordinating various flows (notably via Kafka), monitoring processes, and continuously improving DevOps processes in a critical environment.

The GTAR is responsible for the design, development, evolution, operational maintenance, and operation of IT systems related to operations and control at Enedis.

Missions and responsibilities

Infrastructure Project Management (N3 - Build)

● Refactoring Ansible scripts for the deployment of GTAR products, both at the system and application level.

● Creation of RPM packages for software management and distribution.

● Design and optimization of Docker images tailored to GTAR's needs.

Production Request and Change Management (N2 - Run)

● Incident resolution and Operational Maintenance of GTAR services.

● Execution of change requests from N3 infra, Dev, Cyber teams, etc.

Operational Maintenance (Run)

● Ensuring the operational maintenance of CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Artifactory, SonarQube, etc.

● Administering and guaranteeing the availability of DevOps tools used within GTAR.

SNCF is a French company specializing in rail transport. I work as a SysOps Engineer for DEA (e.sncf), within the Rolling Stock division. The team consists of 8 Ops and PDDs, and I am responsible for an application scope comprising 6 applications. My role covers both Build and Run activities.

Missions and responsibilities

● Deployment and Automation

○ Preparation and management of production deployments (MEP).

○ Design of Ansible playbooks for automating application deployments.

○ Creation of Jenkinsfiles following the EUL SNCF template.

○ Provisioning of Cloud (AWS & Azure) and On-Premises environments with Terraform.

● Monitoring and Maintenance

○ Implementation of foundational monitoring and application supervision.

○ Ensuring Operational Maintenance (MCO) of applications in production.

○ Support for development teams.

○ Participation in production support on-call duties.

● Optimization and Integration

○ Design and optimization of Dockerfiles for development teams.

○ Refactoring of complex Bash scripts.

○ Scheduling of complex workflows and scripts.

○ Implementation of communication flows between partner applications.

● Collaboration and Documentation

○ Challenging architects on technical choices.

○ Referent for the PR scope of scheduling tools, Automator, Rundeck, and CFT.

○ Writing technical documents (DEX, DMEP, DI, etc.).
