Lucile Hashimoto

Biomedical engineer by training (Télécom Physique Strasbourg), who simultaneously completed a specialized Master's degree in Medical and Surgical Imaging and Robotics, followed by a Research Master's degree in Cognitive Neuroscience.

I now have over 13 years of experience in medical image processing, with a career split between academic research (CNRS) and applied industrial research (SATT Sud Est, Olea Medical - Canon Medical Systems). Initially as a research engineer, I then moved into roles as a research project manager and then director of an R&D team.

This background has allowed me to understand the different technical, deadline, and financial constraints of both worlds. Sometimes in direct contact with healthcare professionals, I participated in the development of research projects and the establishment of collaboration agreements, patient support for imaging, data collection, sorting, and management, and finally data annotation and processing.

Over these years, I have participated in the design, development, and market launch of medical data processing algorithms integrating artificial intelligence (neural networks, deep learning). I had to manage constraints related to data size, heterogeneity of multicenter data, the size of neural networks, associated with limited calculation time in clinical routine, as well as available computer hardware in hospitals (CPU, GPU, server).

As a self-entrepreneur since 2021, this transversal background, both technical and operational, allows me to support my clients from project conception to completion.
