• • Portfolio Governance & "Buy vs. Build": I oversee the lifecycle of digital products, leading strategic decisions to integrate the best market solutions or drive in-house developments based on strategic value.

Led the security strategy for the Mercado Pago ecosystem regionally, ensuring the operational resilience necessary for the company's financial expansion. Financial License Enablement: Led compliance with security requirements from Central Banks in Latam, achieving key licenses for the expansion of Mercado Pago's product portfolio. Strategic Decentralization: Transformed the centralized management model into a scheme of specialized regional teams, optimizing local response and regulatory compliance in each country (Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia).

• • M&A (Acquisitions): Represented the Security area in the acquisition committee, executing risk due diligence and leading post-merger technological adaptation plans. Business Risk Mitigation: Designed internal frameworks for early risk detection, achieving critical reductions in information leakage and internal account management. Bringing the BISO culture to the team.

Led the Information Security governance and regional regulatory compliance, establishing the pillars of defense and security culture for the Mercado Pago ecosystem in Latin America.

• • Innovation in Data Security (CASB): Founded and led the technical team that developed a proprietary CASB (Cloud Access Security Broker) tool, a pioneer in the company. This solution automated monitoring and alerting for data loss prevention (DLP), protecting personal and credit card data.

• • TPRM Governance - Supply Chain: Created the first team exclusively dedicated to Vendor Security Management. Defined standards for data connections and ensured the integrity of security clauses in global contracts, mitigating supply chain risks.

• • Regional Regulatory Compliance: Led the establishment of necessary frameworks to comply with local Latam regulations (BACEN, SBIF, CNVB, among others). Ensured adherence to critical standards such as PCI DSS, PIN Security, ISO 27001, and ISO 9001, in addition to SOX controls.

• • Culture and Awareness: Implemented the comprehensive company-wide security training program. Elevated the human resilience standard through specialized programs for technical profiles and general awareness on personal data protection.

• • Risk Management: Responsible for reporting and strategic management of security process risks, providing visibility to senior management for informed decision-making.
