Lou Tsatsas

Freelance journalist and editor, I have been working for over eight years in the cultural and artistic press, with a strong specialization in contemporary photography, image, and editorial practices.

Former web editor-in-chief of Fisheye Magazine (2018–2024), I led the editorial line of a benchmark media outlet, coordinated teams of journalists, designed and supervised editorial projects (web, print, video), and curated content for institutional partners and brands (Rencontres d’Arles, RATP, Fondation Roederer, Prix BMW, Guerlain).

Today, I am a freelancer for several media outlets (Fisheye, Blind, Beaux-Arts Magazine...), and I also support cultural structures, media, and brands on missions of:

- journalistic and editorial writing (articles, interviews, profiles, essays),

- portfolio curation and review,

- French ↔ English translation (press, photo books, subtitles, cultural content).

My work is characterized by high editorial standards, a solid understanding of imagery, and the ability to articulate substance, narrative, and dissemination strategy. I work on both one-off assignments and long-term collaborations.
