About Louis-René

“I want tomorrow for everyone to see collaborative work as something fulfilling, revitalizing, and essential to team life.”

My vision of the facilitator's job? I organize, prepare, and lead collaborative work meetings. I am the guarantor of an environment conducive to the expression of everyone's ideas and the emergence of collective intelligence. I stimulate the group so that it can perform at its best.

I adapt the form and content of collective sessions to best serve their primary objective: To meet? To build trust? To prepare a project together? To share our ideas, our points of view? To design and imagine new ideas? To solve a specific problem? To learn something together? To finally say what's wrong? To review and improve?

I intervene occasionally to facilitate and support a process:
- In management: design and lead a seminar to review the progress made and define the roadmap, deploy a visual management tool with the team, train in collaborative management
- In exploration: go into the field to understand and involve your clients/users in creating personas, conduct an innovative brainstorming session
- In design: concretely exploit the ideas generated by brainstorming, jointly write a brief, user scenarios...
- In prototyping: bodystorming: illustrate a service together through rapid staging and capture feedback to enrich your concepts...
- In human resources: deploy collaborative workshops to facilitate the expression of needs and co-creation of employee solutions, address recurring tensions between professions with forum theater...

    July 2023 - July 2023

The objective was to create personal roadmaps for 2025 for the agency directors and sales engineers.
The challenge was to instill an entrepreneurial mindset, a sense of ownership of their business, in the team members. The new sales director wanted them to take charge of their (new) territories and adopt a conquering spirit.
Finally, he wanted this seminar to develop a sense of pride in the work and the mindset of their colleagues, and to see them mobilize for each other.

I based this seminar on three key associated values & attitudes:
Pride: take your rightful place in this seminar + speak in the "I" + speak about what is good first
Mutual aid: finish your turns to make room for colleagues + let colleagues finish :) + start by trying to rephrase what you understood of their remarks
Ambition: challenge the limits you perceive in your work and that of your colleagues + be precise in the points you make + set aside obstacles & constraints (for today)

Result: highly ambitious roadmaps, a huge amount of sharing of contacts, tips, networks, histories, lessons learned, for a team fully motivated for the year ahead.

Creation and facilitation of a world café
    EDUCATION AND E-LEARNING
    September 2022 - September 2022
    Nantes, France
Every year, a day is dedicated to the future of M2 students (around 140 students).
Some students don't seem to be truly listening to their real needs/expectations; they are searching for themselves. The school perceives a lack of responsibility and maturity.
It's their final year. It's necessary to trigger awareness for some, and a gain in self-confidence for others. They need to understand that their skills are transferable, even after 2 years of work-study in a job they might ultimately not like.
It offers students a collaborative workshop to loosen up, introspect, and mature their professional reflections.
I proposed and facilitated a world café format.

Result: students who feel re-energized, reassured, and liberated.
  • Groupe de communication
Creation and facilitation of a seminar for 180 people
    PRESS AND MEDIA
    August 2022 - August 2022
    Nantes, France
The audience is extremely varied: from field sales (prospecting, order taking) to production, including sales assistants, product developers, management controllers, accounting...
It is difficult to get people with such different issues to work together.
If everyone is allowed to speak freely, there are salespeople who are very comfortable expressing themselves, while people in production, for example, might not dare to.
This variety of roles and profiles complicates the understanding of who does what. Thoughts like "they ask me for this, but I don't necessarily know why" lead to misunderstandings, lack of trust, and feelings of being misunderstood.

This seminar's theme was therefore "knowing each other better to understand each other better".

The client wanted to give me carte blanche to avoid something "seen before".

I proposed a morning focused on impromptu meetings (with a surprising icebreaker) and pride (by highlighting and giving a voice to project leaders).
The afternoon was dedicated to dialogue (with an insightful world café) and conviviality (with challenging team sports activities).
I concluded the day in a facilitator role to keep to deadlines and get a group photo in record time.
