The Exo-Dev project is above all a desire to create a human company in our image: dynamic, expert, and passionate.

Exo-dev has over 10 years of experience in development for multiple ambitious projects with geographical components (including an innovation competition with the city of Paris).

I joined exo-dev as a part-time Freelancer (1-2 days / week)

At the heart of my mission, I took charge of and completely optimized the PDF generation engine (React-PDF) with measurable results:

📉 -50% on the weight of generated files

⚡ -75% on generation time

✅ 100% of texts are selectable - a previously absent feature

I also intervene in bug fixing, continuous improvement of the codebase, as well as UX and responsive design, to ensure a fluid experience on all devices.

The Association for Low Carbon Footprint (ABC) – formerly the Carbon Footprint Association – was created in 2011 by ADEME and APCC, to carry and disseminate the Carbon Footprint® methodology.

I joined ABC as part of the from-scratch refactoring of an application (BC+) from Windev to Next.js / TypeScript. The project's goal is to enable companies to calculate their carbon footprint.

My team consists of 4 to 5 FullStack JavaScript developers and a Product Owner.

My missions:

🎯 Definition of technical specifications and strategies

👨‍🏫 Participation in training internal company teams

🗃️ Creation of the database (Prisma, PostgreSQL)

🆙 Development of views in React/Next

🦾 Writing unit tests (Jest) and end-to-end tests (Cypress)

🔍 Code review (github)

Results:

- Deployment in production every 2 weeks with less than 2% bugs.
