Louis De Rolland

From a very young age, I have nurtured a passion for computers, cinema, and also the art of creating and telling stories. This is how I began to take an interest in the fields of graphic design and particularly in video editing and special effects. The discovery of numerous video creation software and the infinite possibilities they offer immediately inspired me greatly. Thanks to the many tutorials available on the internet, I was able to teach myself how these tools work and the different digital creation methods.

I then felt the need to deepen this knowledge and understand the evolution of these techniques through their primary use: cinema. I logically enrolled in a film and audiovisual school, which allowed me to discover the history of cinema and its origins. It also allowed me to nurture my creative desires through the concepts of storytelling, directing, and production.

Numerous projects have allowed me to put this knowledge into practice and primarily occupy post-production roles: editor, VFX supervisor, post-production manager, 2D and 3D graphic designer, colorist, mixer, sound designer, or title designer.

In parallel, I have always enjoyed challenging myself by offering my digital creation services in a multitude of fields (artistic, sports, commercial, musical, etc.), which has allowed me to refine my technique. For me, it was also a way to meet people and learn a little more about the world around us.
