About Lionel

People are at the heart of projects, and the robustness of teams is what allows the final objective to be achieved. This is my conviction after 15 years in complex project management, and 5 years in a startup during its product scale-up and organizational growth phase.

As a conductor for the implementation of large complex projects, I intervene from the feasibility phase to final delivery. Since my first position as a project pilot, I have evolved and joined project execution departments, before becoming responsible for coordination and project management in client-side (Maîtrise d’ouvrage). I work in close collaboration with project directors or steering committees, playing a right-hand man and relay role, as a strategic support, manager and team leader, and participating in strategic decision-making and ensuring their proper execution.

Framing and structuring, setting up repositories, then tools, adapted to the management of each project, leading multidisciplinary teams: these are my skills, this is my expertise.

Training stakeholders in project culture, becoming a unifying and leading point of contact, cultivating relationships with all stakeholders, aligning them throughout the project phases on the objective(s), communicating clearly, assisting in decision-making: these are my qualities, developed through the projects and management roles I have had to exercise.

    Project: Ynfarm – Definition, Design, and construction of the world's largest vertical farm (13 ha, > €300 million), the first automated industrial facility for premium insect protein production in Amiens.

    Project: Complex operation of modernization and complete restructuring of the historic Roland Garros site (12Ha) and extension into the Jardin des Serres d'Auteuil (3Ha) (> €250 million)
    Challenge: Ensure the supremacy of the Roland Garros tournament internationally.
    Achievement:
    · Development of the work phasing plan while ensuring the tournament proceeds annually
    · Development of project management repositories, management tools, communication methods (PBS, WBS, RACI, Reporting templates, Modification rules and procedures)
    · Supervision and coordination of the client-side (MOA) unit and the 5 engineering firms (MOE) involved in the project during the design and execution phases (preparation and leading of multi-level steering meetings)
    · Responsible for schedule management and guarantor of the consistency of work organization according to the validated roadmap. (Global schedule management, supervision of deliverables, approvals, progress, and invoicing)

    · Responsible for the operational planning unit (OPC) for the operation. (3 FTE)
    Result: Operation completed in March 2021, in accordance with the roadmap and execution plan that I developed and validated in 2014 with the FFT and managed by the team that took over.

    Challenge: Complex operation with TOP&DOWN construction, daily passenger traffic (vehicles) for departing ferries, constrained space, two management streams: construction of the shopping center (A) & fitting out of the shops (B).

    Achievements:
    · Establishment of project management repositories for the VINCI / SPIE / OTIS consortium (PBS, WBS, OBS, RACI, Templates, rules and procedures)
    · Implementation of management and reporting tools for the consortium
    · Responsible for schedule management and coordination of design studies and construction for the consortium
    · Preparation and leading of weekly steering committees with the client Hammerson
    · Change management (Notably the addition of an additional 6000m² floor without impacting the shopping center's opening deadline)
    · Responsible for the operational planning unit (OPC) for the operation (3 FTE)
    · Management of the delivery of empty shells to management stream B (interior fitting out of the shells) and coordination with remaining work in the shopping center part

    Result: Delivery in the quality and deadlines expected by the client Hammerson
