About Leonardo

A dev who tells you "we don't need to code this" is rarer than a dev who tells you "I can code this." Voyagitron, accessibility converter, showcase websites: I deliver based on real needs, using React / Rust / Supabase.

My flagship projects:

▪️ Voyagitron: Public beta travel SaaS, designed and deployed alone from prototype to production (React, Vite, Supabase, PostgreSQL)
▪️ YouTube Converter: Open source Rust + Tauri desktop application, designed for someone with specific accessibility needs
▪️ HTML5/CSS3 showcase websites for associations and local projects

What I can do for you:

▪️ Custom web applications (React, TypeScript in learning zone)
▪️ Multi-platform desktop applications (Rust, Tauri)
▪️ Databases and backend (Supabase, PostgreSQL, RLS security)
▪️ Showcase websites and PWAs (HTML5, CSS3, Vite, Vercel)

What sets me apart:

I don't code for the sake of coding. Every line of code I deliver exists because it meets an identified need. It's sometimes less spectacular, but it's more reliable, more maintainable, and cheaper in the long run.

My philosophy: code that doesn't exist has no bugs.

YouTube → MP3 Converter: Desktop application for accessibility
    HEALTH AND WELLNESS
    May 2026 - May 2026
    Dax, France
    Short version:

Local desktop application designed to allow a person with a mental disability to convert YouTube videos to MP3 files independently. 100% local, no cloud, with a simplified interface.

    Long version:

    🎯 The project

This application was designed to meet a specific need: to allow a person with a mental disability to use a video→audio conversion tool independently, without relying on an internet connection or a cloud service. The challenge was not technical but human: absolute simplicity of use, reliability, security. The technical choices followed from this.

    🛠️ My responsibilities

    100% of the project, autonomously:
    - Design oriented towards real needs (icon-based interface, minimal user journey)
    - Architectural choices: 100% local, no server or database
    - Learning Rust and Tauri specifically for this project
    - Integration of yt-dlp and ffmpeg as native sidecars
    - Implementation of security through least privilege

    ⚙️ Technical Stack

Interface: React + Vite, Lucide (icons).
Native core: Rust + Tauri (lightweight desktop application).
Embedded engines: yt-dlp (download) and ffmpeg (conversion), integrated as sidecars.

    💡 Approach

    I prioritized:
    - The MP3 format for its universal compatibility (car radios, old devices) over a more modern but less compatible format
    - Tauri over Electron for memory efficiency
    - The complete absence of a database and server when nothing justified it

Development followed an incremental logic: each feature validated in isolation, application always functional.

Voyagitron, web SaaS for tour and cultural quiz management
    CULTURE
    March 2026 - Today (5 months)
    Dax, France
    Short version:

Allows users to organize their tourist tours on Google Maps and test their cultural knowledge.

    Long version:

    🎯 The project

Voyagitron is a SaaS web application that I designed and deployed alone, from prototype to production. The goal: to bring together in one tool what users search for scattered across multiple sites when preparing for a trip: tour organization, map-based planning, cultural preparation.

The application is currently in public beta and can be installed like a native app on mobile (PWA).

    🛠️ My responsibilities

    100% of the project, autonomously:
    - Product design and technical architecture
    - Front-end development and Google Maps integration
    - Authentication and database setup (Supabase)
    - PWA configuration for mobile installation and offline mode
    - Production deployment on Vercel
    - API key security and Git workflow

    ⚙️ Technical Stack

React, Vite, Supabase (PostgreSQL + Auth), Google Maps API, Open Trivia DB, Workbox (PWA), Vercel deployment.

    📈 Status

Tested by a restricted network of users before a wider launch. V2 roadmap in progress: integration of booking APIs (Skyscanner, Booking.com).
