For a media company, I set up Snowplow for event tracking. The data infrastructure runs on AWS and uses EC2, Kinesis, and S3, among others. The data is permanently stored in a data lake in Palantir Foundry, which is also used for data modeling and reporting.

In addition to designing and implementing the tracking infrastructure, including load tests, I also created the datasets required for reporting and, together with the Product Owner, defined a roadmap for future development towards near-realtime streaming. We are currently in the process of implementing it.

At a media company in Berlin, I coached the Business Intelligence team and, together with them, implemented measures that allow all colleagues to access and utilize data in their respective areas.

For a software company in Hamburg, I implemented a data warehouse in Snowflake that integrates data from Software as a Service tools and APIs. The raw data is modeled and aggregated using dbt and provided as company-wide KPIs in dashboards in Metabase and AWS QuickSight. The project includes a continuous integration pipeline that tests data quality and fails builds upon unexpected KPI deviations.
