I provided both deployable and remote technical leadership to country offices across Africa, Asia, and the Middle East to strengthen emergency preparedness and support timely, principled humanitarian response. Worked closely with country teams and partners to build systems, develop tools, and align emergency actions with long-term development and resilience goals.
Key Achievements and Contributions:
• • Led the start-up and management of emergency operations in new countries, including rapid assessments, response design, and resourcing ensuring alignment with both humanitarian standards and country strategies.
• • Supported 12 country offices to strengthen preparedness systems in line with agreed minimum emergency and readiness standards, contributing to faster, more coherent responses and reducing time to scale during crises.
