Leila Khouas

I worked for several years as a developer (C/C++, PHP) and then research engineer within this software publisher, specializing in technological intelligence or Market intelligence. I contributed to the design and then the implementation of the core components of an internet monitoring platform (open sources). My contributions concern various functionalities related to information collection, indexing, search, and analysis. During this time, I gained extensive experience in C/C++ development for low-level algorithms, and a good knowledge of Web development, particularly in PHP, Javascript, and Node.js. I also worked extensively on automatic text analysis (Text Mining, NLP), especially on automatic document classification and named entity extraction issues. I thus acquired some experience in machine learning, notably using several Python libraries (scikit-learn, spaCy, NLTK, etc.). I also had the opportunity to participate in the management and technical execution of several research projects involving various industrial and academic partners. Finally, I also supervised several CIFRE theses from the company's side.
