My responsibilities as Engineering Manager within Decathlon's Design System include:

- Leading a team of Front-end developers and UX/UI designers while contributing/technically assisting with primary/consumer projects (< 5 people);

- Defining the Design System's vision and roadmap;

- Facilitating the adoption of the Design System and ensuring the best outcome for stakeholders;

- Being responsible for the implementation of a scalable Design System that helps us build consistent interfaces while respecting the guidelines provided by designers;

- Technically contributing to the development of components from designers;

- Ensuring that the ecosystem designs reusable code and libraries for future use within products;

- Collaborating with other team members and stakeholders (UX designers, product managers, marketing managers, and developers);

- Evangelizing the need for a design system and how teams should use it across global teams;

- Managing product delivery (defining priorities, assigning tasks, coordinating teams, etc.);

- Constantly monitoring to ensure up-to-date implementation.

My responsibilities as Engineering Manager within the Retail IT Business Unit were:

- Supporting Front-End developers, recruiting, improving individual and collective performance, and ensuring the career progression of these engineers;

- Continuously improving iterative and agile engineering processes and practices, ensuring and improving delivery efficiency;

- Leading the tech/architecture dimension & associated roadmaps within product teams, managing expertise (technical debt, security, quality, robustness, and performance);

- Actively collaborating with Product Managers to ensure a shared understanding of the product roadmap within the Sport Leader Experience (commerce) teams, and ensuring its proper implementation in technical solutions;

- Operational anchoring in the construction of Decathlon's Design System as Tech Lead.

My responsibilities as Tech Lead for the "My Business" web application (React), the in-store employee toolbox for analyzing/tracking performance and performing specific actions on large screens with a UX approach, were:

- Ensuring the quality and performance of Front-End applications;

- In a continuous improvement approach, training and leading a development team;

- Actively contributing to communities of practice and participating in various recruitment processes;

- Decathlon Front-end Community Leader in a complementary mission.
