At the Youth Information Point of the Mairie du Plessis-Robinson town hall, I held a position as a youth information officer, which allowed me to be in direct contact with young people and their families while participating in local dynamics. My main mission was to welcome the public, listen to their expressed needs, and guide young people towards resources and systems adapted to their personal, academic, or professional projects.

The reception at the PIJ was a central moment. The objective was to offer an accessible and supportive space where everyone could obtain information on orientation, training, employment, international mobility, or civic engagement. I paid particular attention to listening and clarity of information so that each young person left with concrete benchmarks and adapted action plans.

I also participated in animating the Youth Information Point by implementing activities and discussion sessions on topics useful to young people. These initiatives aimed to promote autonomy, value local initiatives, and create moments of dialogue between young people and local partners.

Another important aspect of my work was supporting young people in the construction and realization of their projects: help with file preparation, structuring ideas, information gathering, and guidance towards existing systems. I also provided follow-up to support the realization of these projects.

This experience allowed me to develop a human and structured approach to support, based on listening, pedagogy, and valuing each person's abilities.

For a significant period of my life, I cared for my mother who was suffering from leukemia as a family caregiver. This situation led me to become fully involved in organizing her daily life to provide constant support and best preserve her quality of life in the face of illness.

On a daily basis, I carried out numerous tasks essential for her well-being: assistance with daily living activities, meal preparation, grocery shopping, home maintenance, and organizing medical appointments. I was also present to accompany her to her consultations and handle the administrative procedures related to her medical care.

Beyond the practical aspects, this caregiver role required a great capacity for listening and presence. It involved maintaining a reassuring and stable environment, while remaining attentive to her health status and evolving needs. This experience led me to develop a strong sense of responsibility, organization, and adaptation to sometimes difficult situations.

I also learned to coordinate communication with healthcare professionals and various stakeholders involved in her care, to ensure continuity of care and a good understanding of the procedures to be followed.

This period, which was emotionally demanding, allowed me to strengthen essential qualities such as patience, empathy, and rigor in daily management. It also confirmed the importance of mutual aid and support during times when people need it most.
