COLLABORATIVE SCOPE: Setup of KPC (KYNDRYL PRIVATE CLOUD) from scratch – Multi-tenant cloud with AZURE-like functionalities. Expertise and ARIA development. Key role within a team of 20 people.

ACHIEVEMENTS Technical expertise on vRA (Assistance in architectural decisions – team support and development). Development of a "blueprint wrapper" included in an XAAS for pre-provisioning actions. : dedicated to the development of a custom "Routing" (Use of dynamic types). Involving the creation via RestAPI in NSX of a Tier1 router with route advertising definition. : of a "Network Security Group", the creation of segments via RestAPI in NSX as well as the creation via RestAPI in vRA of the corresponding "network profiles" with their gateways, IP ranges, and tags.

◼ Creation of the "Network Security Group" catalog item with CIDR overlap checking (external source).

◼ Dev of 2 deployment deletion workflows (Success only mode and always mode) for ephemeral deployments.

◼ Development of a "Manage Concurrencies" mechanism. (Protection of vRO processes accessing configurations with timeout security)

◼ Definition and implementation of the vRO configuration structure enabling multi-tenant management on a single vRO.

◼ Dev of the "start/stop/restart VM" feature: Workflow + catalog Item (XAAS) + Day2 resource action.

◼ Dev of the "change CPU/RAM VM" feature: Workflow + catalog Item (XAAS) + Day2 resource action.

◼ Application of affinity/anti-affinity rules at the compute and storage level on 2 sites. Achieved via a "relocate VM storage" workflow. For compute: Choice of the host with the least load in terms of number of VMs.

◼ Dev of get and del vCenter Session ID actions on the new vCenter API version and dev of code allowing API calls without using restHost.

◼ Development and implementation of a Day2 "Change description" and its presentation actions.

◼ Complete redesign of scheduled workflows for email notifications before lease expiration and before VDI destruction.

◼ Deployment of 4 vRO packages for updating the myCloud portal.

◼ Redesign of the email sending system (Traceability and resilience).

◼ Troubleshooting of Citrix master cloning issues on certain templates.

◼ Automation of acceptance tests: Creation of a non-monolithic extensible design for integrating VDI provisioning test workflows with Day2, vCenter resource verification, email sending verification + Testing of scheduled workflows. Reports provided in the form of log files and detailed email alerts in case of failure.
