I am Laurène Vanacker and I have been a video editor for 8 years.
I have a BTS in video editing and a degree in motion design.
I have been freelancing since December 2019 and have already worked with several clients.
I mainly work in fashion, but I also work on projects such as: YouTube videos, corporate films, advertising campaigns, tutorials, interviews, and sometimes even cinema (trailers, short films).
I am not closed to discovering other production areas, quite the contrary. I like to challenge myself and give my best.
In my work methods:
- After discussing the project and the client's wishes, I usually prepare a small production file (inspirations, proposals, quotes, etc.).
- Once we agree on the project & the quote (if the video is already shot), I propose a first "rough cut" version to define a timeline.
- Then, the client usually has 3 free revisions before I charge for them.
Delivery times generally depend on the amount of raw footage, but for editing, it does not exceed 2 days for a video under 10 minutes (without raw footage).
Since I have training in motion design and continue to practice it daily, I am open to these requests.
It's up to the client to see if it's feasible or not.
For my technical skills, I am equipped with the complete Adobe suite.
