Laurène Cottereau

Graduated in 2025 with a double degree in interior architecture and design from LISAA, the Higher Institute of Applied Arts, I chose the same year to found my self-employed business to give shape to a practice that reflects me: committed, collaborative, and deeply human.

Driven by the desire to constantly learn and evolve through contact with other universes, I see my profession as a space for exchange and sharing. Working alongside other architects, artisans, or designers allows me to nourish my creativity, confront my ideas, and enrich each project with collective reflection.

What I love about my job is this plurality of approaches: moving from sketching to the construction site, from technical details to material research, from dialogue with the client to coordinating a team. Each of these stages tells something about the place and those who will live in it. I draw my inspiration from natural materials, changing light, inhabited places, those that carry a story, however discreet, and which we reinterpret without ever distorting them. I love spaces that breathe sincerity, where each element has a reason to be, where one feels the hand, the trace, the precision of the gesture.

My approach is based on a simple conviction: a successful project is not born from a spectacular idea, but from attentive listening, a fair balance, and global coherence. In my opinion, designing means first observing and understanding, but also seeking to imagine projects that carry meaning, are rooted in their time, and respectful of their surroundings. It also means translating emotions into space and imagining places that tell a story, with gentleness and authenticity.
