For nearly twenty years, I have brought my passion and rigor to writing in all its forms, including its most recent developments: post-proofreading of texts written or assisted by AI is an example (bringing back the human touch to a process that is too smooth and too... perfect!).
I hold a Formacom degree, the only state-recognized qualification in the profession. NOTE that 'qualifications' such as Voltaire or Le Robert certifications do not mean the person is a professional: they only indicate good spelling. However, proofreading is a profession, as rightly highlighted by the Association des correcteurs de langue française, of which I am a member (and was a board member in 2024 and 2025).
Beta tester from 2002 to 2022 for the orthotypographical software ProLexis (Diagonal editions), I am a true 'pro', known for my speed and the care I take with the smallest revisions.
I have proofread, and sometimes rewritten, over a hundred books for numerous publishers (Autres Temps, JC Lattès, Hors Collection, Vents Contraires, La Musardine, Ofelbe, Dunod, Sous la verrière…).
I have been a journalist, copy editor, and editor-in-chief.
I proofread and revise all types of texts, from reports to novels, and am competent to perform beta reading.
Biographer-memoirist, I have solid experience in writing memoirs.
I deeply enjoy helping individuals by writing their memories: adapting, effacing myself, adopting their tone and their true voice.
Incidentally:
Member of the collective that enabled the publication of Jean-Pierre Lacroux's book - Orthotypographie (and president of the association).
Winner in 2006 of the literary competition of the Academy of Marseille, third prize in the Concours général (French), twice winner (middle school and high school) of the national competition of the Resistance and Deportation.
