My name is Lars Neger and my life as an author and editor revolves around the written word. I have been active in the German book industry in all its facets for more than twenty years. As a trained bookseller with many years of professional experience, I know what people read. In addition, I had the opportunity to work in editorial for a publishing house for four years before working as an editor for a military radio station for three years. For five years now, I have been working as a freelance and full-time editor and author, allowing me to pursue my passion for books and texts full-time.
As an author, I also know the other side of the writing craft. On this path, I gained ten years of experience in developing novel projects for a German literary agency. With my co-author and wife, I now write novels under a pseudonym. Our debut NEUNZEHN JAHRE (NINETEEN YEARS) was awarded the Koblenz Book Prize in 2025.
