At the THK Ensisheim production site, I held the position of production operator specializing in the manufacturing of linear motion systems (high-precision rails and blocks).

My main tasks included:

Machine Operation: Operating, adjusting, and monitoring CNC machines for machining and grinding mechanical parts.

Rigorous Quality Control: Monitoring strict geometric and dimensional tolerances of rails and blocks using precision measuring instruments, ensuring the conformity of finished products.

First-Level Maintenance: Routine maintenance of production equipment and reporting of anomalies to optimize machine availability.

Adherence to Industrial Standards: Strict application of safety instructions, technical procedures, and imposed production rates.

This 5-year experience in an industrial environment has allowed me to develop great rigor, a keen sense of detail, a strong ability to adapt to complex technical processes, and excellent teamwork skills.

Promoted to the position of Setter on the linear motion block grinding lines, I took on increased responsibility for the precision and configuration of production tools. My role was to ensure the perfect geometric conformity of high-precision blocks.

My main tasks included:

Machine Setting and Configuration: Mounting tooling, grinding wheels, setting machining parameters on CNC controls according to production sheets and execution plans.

Drift Correction and Diagnosis: Analyzing initial production runs, identifying production anomalies, and adjusting machines (tool corrections, cutting path modifications) to maintain processes within required tolerances (often in the micron range).

Technical Maintenance and Production Changeover: Handling production changeovers between different block references, fine mechanical adjustments, and participating in first-level corrective maintenance.

Technical Support to Operators: Assisting teams on production lines to resolve complex setting issues and optimize scrap rates.

This 7-year position has consolidated my ability to analyze complex data, methodically diagnose logical failures, and maintain an extreme level of rigor under pressure.

In the role of Process / Methods Technician, I define, optimize, and guarantee the efficiency of manufacturing flows. I provide technical expertise to solve complex problems, control costs, and manage industrial projects.

Beyond methods, I use my programming skills (ISO, VBA, Python) daily to design automated solutions.

My responsibilities are organized around several axes:

Process Automation (Excel VBA / Python): Designing complex macros and internal tools to automate KPI monitoring, financial analysis, and production data processing to eliminate time-consuming tasks.

Industrial Programming & ISO Grinding: Creating and optimizing ISO code programs applied to high-precision grinding processes, modifying robot programs, and providing field expertise.

Process Engineering & Industrialization: Defining processes (quality, costs, deadlines), feasibility/time studies, and deploying technical documentation and manufacturing procedures.

Project & Budget Management: Planning (monthly to annual), budget monitoring (cost studies, quote preparation), and execution control in the field.

Quality & Continuous Improvement: Analyzing malfunctions and implementing control phases to eliminate defects at the micron level.

Training & Knowledge Transfer: Creating and delivering technical training to teams to ensure skills transfer.

This position demonstrates my dual expertise: solid knowledge of precision processes combined with mastery of programming tools (VBA, Python) to automate and optimize any organization.
