Kyeong-Mee C.

Born and raised in Seoul, South Korea, I came to France in 1988 to pursue my higher education in Paris. In 1993, a design and production agency in Paris gave me the opportunity to work as an art director and thus remain in France. In 1995, I met my French partner, and our children are now 20 and 16 years old.

My work has allowed me to explore different fields for which I have designed and created a visual identity. As a result, I have built up extensive knowledge of our cultural, economic, and social world. For 25 years, I have been offering my ideas by choosing the most precise words, both orally and in writing.

My mother tongue is Korean. Before coming to France, I completed my higher education in Korea with a degree from Seoul National University. Today I am fully bilingual: I have always expressed myself in French at work and with my family; I am an avid reader of literary and philosophical works in French; I regularly participate in anthropological seminars and conferences; my English is also of a very good level.

I believe I have a real understanding of French culture as well as Korean culture, which is essential to achieve the true meaning, the non-figurative meaning of language. Thus, I can use my two languages, French and Korean, as adequate tools to communicate this meaning.

After 31 years in France, I would like to contribute through interpreting and translation to the international relationship between my two countries, and I would be very honored to make my humble know-how available.
