I am a full stack developer who started in 2010 to create regular websites before I focused on advanced custom web applications. I am particularly strong in PHP and enjoy working in CMS and frameworks like Drupal, Symfony, or Laravel. I usually use Bash, Python, and Go as secondary languages for scripts/tools. I am also a decent front-ender with a lot of experience with, for example, Tailwind, TypeScript, and Vue.js. Furthermore, I often make use of generic E2E testing frameworks such as Selenium, Cypress, and Playwright.

What I particularly enjoy is building and maintaining applications that are intended to have a long lifespan. Quality in the form of performance, stability, scalability, and extensibility are important motivators for me, and these are usually valued more highly as the intended age of the application increases. I also enjoy being involved in the entire process, think of elaborating specifications for the application, direct contact with clients, guiding teams as a scrum master, etc.

As a freelancer, I usually work for smaller companies that need a custom application due to very specific wishes and needs, but who do not have the budget to hire a full team from a web agency.
