As a web developer and web administrator, I am responsible for the technical and content-related support of company websites. My focus is on the development and optimization of WordPress websites, including migration, setup, and custom adaptation of designs and functionalities.

I implement tracking services such as Google Analytics and HubSpot in a data protection-compliant manner and ensure that all accessibility and data protection (GDPR) requirements are met. Furthermore, I ensure optimized performance, reliable redirects, and custom adjustments through custom code.

In addition to technical implementation, training employees for efficient use of WordPress is also part of my responsibilities.

Focus areas:

As a web developer at Bibliomed Verlag, my responsibilities included both web design and the technical implementation and support of websites. This included training employees to independently manage orders such as course bookings or specialist journal subscriptions, as well as implementing technical solutions like WooCommerce for ordering processes.

Particular emphasis was placed on the data protection-compliant integration of tracking services and cookie banners (e.g., Cookiebot). Accessibility played a central role in website design, as did the integration of learning management systems like LearnDash.

A highlight was the planning and execution of a hybrid event that included live streams as well as digital and analog ticketing solutions.
