Koen Vegter

I am a strategy and innovation consultant with broad experience across corporate, startup, and technology environments.

I started my career at an early-stage consultancy, where I was the first employee. In this role, I worked across a wide variety of projects and industries, gaining hands-on experience in both strategy and execution. My work has included developing growth strategies for international clients such as Hyatt Hotels in Hong Kong, and creating new digital and innovative solutions for the Li & Fung Group in London. I have also contributed to SAP implementations for chemical multinationals, sustainability initiatives for companies like Jacobs Douwe Egberts, and collaborated closely with software development teams to bring new products to market.

In addition to consulting, I co-founded a startup together with the founder of the consultancy, where I gained direct entrepreneurial experience in building and scaling a business. To further expand my perspective, I later joined IKEA, while continuing to run the startup in a lean, maintenance-focused setup.

At this stage, I am looking for a new challenge where I can apply my experience at the intersection of strategy, technology, and execution to create meaningful impact.

My academic background is in Business Administration and Business Information Management, which I studied in Rotterdam.
