Klaas is an internationally active consultant for accounting and auditing with over 25 years of professional experience. He was a partner at a Big Four firm and at a leading medium-sized auditing company and has in-depth expertise in IFRS, US GAAP, and HGB.

Klaas has been offering the service as a Fractional Financial Accountant since 2024, together with his own small team of highly qualified colleagues.

The Fractional Financial Accountant service is aimed at companies with their own accounting department that require support with closing activities and professional reinforcement for more complex issues – for example, in connection with group financial statements, international accounting issues, or for accompanying annual financial statement audits.

Klaas and his team work directly, pragmatically, and solution-oriented with the internal finance team. If necessary, additional specialists are involved.

Throughout his career, Klaas has worked successfully in a wide variety of industries and company sizes – from international corporations to medium-sized and family-run businesses. He is therefore familiar with the specific requirements and expectations of these target groups.
