Akileo is a mobile application dedicated to preserving and organizing personal memories. The application allows for the long-term archiving of photos, videos, and audio recordings within a fluid and secure mobile experience. Developed in Flutter, it is available on iOS and Android.

Key achievements:

- Contribution to functional choices and product evolution prioritization in collaboration with stakeholders.

- Participation in the design and full development of the Flutter mobile application.

- Implementation of a modular architecture based on Clean Architecture principles to ensure product maintainability and scalability.

- Development of multimedia management features: photo, video, and audio capture, compression, thumbnail generation, EXIF metadata management, and content playback.

- Implementation of local persistence and synchronization mechanisms for fast and reliable access to user data.

- Development of security features: biometric authentication, secure storage, and mobile permission management.

- Contribution to technical choices, code reviews, and continuous improvement of software quality.

Pickfungi

Founder & Flutter Developer

Pickfungi is a mobile application for mushroom picking enthusiasts. It allows users to geolocate, organize, and find their picking spots through a mobile experience optimized around mapping, offline mode, and cloud synchronization.

The application is available on iOS and Android and has several thousand users.

Key achievements:

• Design, development, and complete maintenance of the Flutter mobile application.

• Creation of an advanced mapping experience for managing and visualizing picking spots.

• Implementation of an offline-first architecture for data access even without a network connection.

• Development of synchronization mechanisms between local storage and the cloud to ensure data availability and consistency.

• Integration of a monetization system through in-app purchases and subscription management.

• Publication and maintenance of the application on the App Store and Play Store.

Migration of the "Mäin Offall – Meng Ressourcen" application

The "Mäin Offall – Meng Ressourcen" application assists Luxembourg citizens in managing and recycling their waste. Used by over 88 municipalities, it offers a personalized collection calendar, reminder notifications, and a map of publicly accessible collection points. The application is available in 4 languages on iOS and Android.

As part of the platform's modernization, a team of three freelancers was assembled to migrate the application from Xamarin to Flutter.

Key achievements:

- Participation in defining the product backlog and prioritizing evolutions in collaboration with business teams and stakeholders.

- Improvement of the user experience and modernization of several key application workflows.

- Complete migration of the mobile application to Flutter, based on Clean Architecture principles.

- Development of new features and adaptation of existing services during the technological transition.

- Implementation of automated tests to secure the migration and ensure application stability.

- Contribution to the successful delivery of a new version published on the iOS and Android stores in just 3 months.

Results:

- Migration completed on time.

- New optimized collection workflow for users.

- Service continuity for tens of thousands of citizens across over 88 municipalities.
