Master's students in their first year of the "Dev Major" were able to discover the advantages and disadvantages of hybrid / cross-platform applications.

They were able to experiment with the limits of native solutions versus cross-platform solutions in order to make the right choices for their future projects.

Having already covered native solutions in previous courses, we focused on Ionic / React Native solutions while also discussing other existing cross-platform solutions.

During this session, they were able to develop the front-end for a restaurant management project (table service, inventory, etc.) after deciding together on the necessary functionalities for such a service.

They "modeled" it on a whiteboard, choosing functionalities (priority/secondary) that a restaurant might encounter during service and for daily management, then developed it by determining components, requests, conditional displays, state management...

During this "Dev Major" session, Master's students were able to experiment with the advantages and disadvantages of Monolithic vs. Microservices applications, and challenged themselves to make the most coherent choice based on the projects to be carried out and to have a critical perspective on the direction of their projects based on the proposed scenarios.

During this session, students were able to develop a ticket purchasing and selling service with several underlying aspects requiring the project to be developed in microservices, while having the choice of programming languages.
