Within the BPCE group (Banque Populaire / Caisse d’Épargne), I joined the development program for the new customer experience, which allows users to check their accounts, make transfers, manage their payment methods, modify their information, and many other features.

Tech Lead of a small agile team in a SAFe framework, we were tasked with developing the customer information update feature, to reduce the need for customer service representatives.

The project is based on Angular, using a library approach, so that each project can provide its library within an Angular application that manages everything. The whole is based on a white-label concept, which allows the deployment of the new customer interface to banks affiliated with Banque Populaire and Caisse d’Épargne. We implemented a hexagonal architecture, with the aim of reducing inter-library dependencies, and thus centralizing data exchange between libraries.

After that, I joined another, more cross-functional team, to develop more libraries, but also to ensure production maintenance.

Despite the teams being located in different sites (Toulouse, Aix, Paris mainly), numerous development and continuous integration rules were put in place to ensure consistency in the new customer interface. Extensive collaboration with Back-End teams and Architects is established to build APIs and facilitate exchanges. The same applies to UX Designers and accessibility specialists, ensuring this new interface is user-friendly for everyone.
