Within a team of 13 system administrators spread internationally, I was involved in L2 and L3 MCO (Maintenance in Operational Condition). We were responsible for server virtualization for Air France KLM / Transavia on VMWare and Configuration Manager. The infrastructure comprises several thousand virtualized machines. Communication is mainly in English.

Cluster Management

• Administer and maintain Hyper-V nodes, including performance monitoring, resource optimization, and update management.

• Manage storage with Vplex by supervising resource allocation, performance optimization, and the implementation of high availability and replication policies.

• Manage roles and permissions within Hyper-V and Vplex environments to ensure secure administration in line with best practices.

• Design, deploy, and administer Hyper-V clusters, ensuring high availability, fault tolerance, and performance optimization of virtual machines.

VM Management

• Use SCCM for deployment of updates, application management, and workstation inventory.

• Administer VMM, ensuring the creation and management of virtual machines, clusters, and network configurations.

• Automate tasks and orchestrate workflows with Microsoft Orchestrator.

• Supervise infrastructures with SCOM, ensuring proactive alert management and incident diagnostics.

• Configure and administer Configuration Manager (SCCM) to optimize the management of workstations and servers.

• Ensure backup management and planning with TSM and DPM to guarantee service continuity.

• Diagnose and resolve major incidents using the SNOW tool to ensure traceability and follow-up of interventions.

Within the virtualization team at Pôle Emploi France in Orléans, in a VMWare Horizon environment, my mission was to automate the updates of Golden Images. The main objective was therefore to save time on each action.
