Hello from Hamburg,

Based on a triple qualification – journalism, PR, and a science degree (Oecotrophology) – I have been working for almost 20 years with passion, dedication, and joy as a freelance journalist/copywriter in the science sector (medicine, health, pharmaceuticals, and nutrition) for both specialist and general readers. Previously, I held management positions in publishing houses and agencies – e.g., medical trade publisher, Gruner & Jahr – as a permanent employee.

A focus of my current work is patient information on various disease patterns and regular medical expert interviews with KOLs for the doctors' news service. I also regularly report from press conferences and congresses and write both classic press releases and special publications. Depending on the request, I deliver pure text or, in cooperation with other freelancers from the fields of graphics/layout/illustration/photography, the all-round carefree package from the initial idea through project management to the printed copy. And in between, I always enjoy writing classic, light-hearted magazine texts for the website of a large food company.

I have additional qualifications in easy and simple language.
