I worked as an English teacher in a French high school, teaching students from the equivalent of 10th grade up to the first year of post-secondary education (BTS). With younger students, I focused on both language skills and cultural aspects to deepen their understanding of the English-speaking world. For BTS students in accounting, I tailored my lessons to professional and technical contexts, using my background in international business to teach accounting-specific English. This role required adaptability, strong communication skills, and the ability to create engaging content suited to different levels and professional needs.

As a resort representative in a mountain resort during the summer, I was responsible for assisting tourists and ensuring they had a smooth and enjoyable stay. I spent much of my time outdoors, helping visitors find their way around the resort, providing practical information about local activities, services, and transportation. I also worked inside the tourist office, where I answered questions, gave recommendations, and helped resolve any issues guests encountered. My role required excellent communication skills, local knowledge, and a friendly, approachable attitude to support a positive guest experience throughout their holiday.

As a Temporary Bank Clerk, I supported bankers with both customer service and administrative tasks. Part of my day was spent welcoming clients at the front desk, answering their questions, processing bank transfers, handling phone calls, and assisting with day-to-day banking needs—similar to what bankers do outside of appointments and more complex operations. The other part of my work involved managing customer files and administrative duties. I handled sensitive client information, updated records, and contacted clients when necessary. The role required strong organizational skills, discretion, and a real commitment to maintaining confidentiality and data protection.
