Jürgen Brand

I have over 30 years of experience as a daily newspaper editor, having done everything that goes with local journalism: research, writing, photography (even developing film and making prints), topic planning, editorial organization, team leadership, events. The most exciting topics for me were always the people in the city, urban planning and urban development, infrastructure, but also, for example, the hotel and gastronomy industry, including restaurant reviews. I traveled in the musical world up to Broadway, reported on the first palm tree in Dubai. Since April 2021, I have been self-employed as a freelance journalist and write regularly for daily newspapers, city and trade magazines, among others.
