Much of my responsibility revolved around the continuous migration from Saleslogix to the Salesforce CRM platform, and adapting other legacy systems to integrate seamlessly. As well, as the sole Salesforce developer on the team, I was tasked with the creation of new functionality and Salesforce applications to meet business needs, while still fulfilling ad hoc needs such as advanced metrics reporting for various departments (Sales, Support, Fulfillment, etc.). One example project was the creation of an application to be used to generate software product keys via integration with a RESTful web server, while integrating with Steelbrick CPQ. SQL stored procedures, views, functions, etc. were heavily utilized on a daily basis to maintain data integrity and balance between both systems.
