Juliette Mottier

My name is Juliette MOTTIER, a graphic designer by training, a graduate of the École Supérieure d'Art et de Design de Saint-Étienne (ESADSE). After five years of study rich in exploration, I am now seeking to cross the border between design and art, aiming to enrich my practice with a more artistic and manual approach. My work is built at the crossroads of graphic precision and instinctive artistic expression, where experimentation plays an essential role.

What deeply drives me is workshop work. There, I explore artisanal techniques and traditional know-how, which I integrate into my projects. Each new creation thus becomes an opportunity to learn, discover new methods, and innovate through handmade work. In an era where graphic designers are shaped by graphic design software, the workshop opens up new, much more sensitive and impactful possibilities in my opinion. The artisanal process gives my works a unique and personal character, reflecting this quest for authenticity.
