Audit of digital practices related to tablet use in middle school

    October 2024 - March 2025 (5 months)
    Toulouse, France
The management team of the middle school, supported by the Parents' Association, wished to open a consultation to gather the opinions of students, families, and supervising staff on the digital practices related to tablet use in middle school. This initiative is part of a commitment to continuous improvement of practices.

As part of this mission, the Mavana team surveyed students, parents, and supervising staff (teachers and boarding school supervisors) to better understand their practices and enable the school's management to make decisions about the continuation of this deployment.

The methodology implemented followed these steps:
1/ Drafting of the specifications to define the scope of the study and list existing resources

2/ Distribution of 3 online questionnaires to the 1083 students, 1121 parents, and 103 supervising staff members (teachers and boarding school supervisors) to collect their opinions and feedback

3/ Conducting 5 individual interviews with members of the IT department, 2 parents, and 2 9th-grade students to delve deeper into key points raised in the online questionnaire responses

4/ Drafting of this analysis report

This mission was carried out over a few months and resulted in a comprehensive action plan to improve practices.
