Assisting the company in redesigning its IS and internalizing development.

The applications (outsourced) had reached a point of blockage. A rewrite was decided, as well as the internalization of development teams, starting with the back-end. Upon my arrival, the work had begun, so I conducted an assessment between the requirements and what had been started. I then proposed a shift towards a Micro Service, CQRS, and Event Sourcing architecture. This allows for greater flexibility, facilitates the maintainability of business logic, while combating data inconsistency risks.

I established the foundation of the solution and supported the skill development of the team (3 developers) for them to adopt the solution. I also acted as a code guarantor to ensure the implemented solution was sustainable, by setting up automated tests and conducting systematic constructive code reviews.

I also took charge of certain developments:

Management of data transfer between the two architectures.
Optimization of certain processes.
Implementation of monitoring to limit blind spots in code execution.
Implementation of abstractions and optimizations to facilitate the use of the architecture.
Optimization of massive data processing in SQL (from 48 hours to 8 hours of processing)
